We’re Eco Friendly
It’s no secret that environmental friendliness is becoming an increasingly important concern for businesses of all sizes. We are proud to be environmentally friendly, by having your item repaired you are doing your bit by recycling your old unit.
Yes you probably didn’t realise , just imagine how much this has saved landfill , co2 and other factors relating to our precious environment.
Our workshop has been adapted to be more eco friendly , these are some of the small changes implemented :
- All workstations are temperature controlled, therefore saving on excessive energy and heat.
- Energy saving lamps are used wherever possible.
- Your old packaging is recycled and sent back in the same box.
- Components are sourced from EU companies who adhere to the EU regulations.
- Vehicles are not left running for long periods of time.
- Our booking system is electronic , saving on paper.
These are just some of the examples that we stick to.
Some may think that we are being economical , but its just our way to help the environment.
This is what a happy client had to say :
This is RESOURCE EFFICIENCY at its best! Question: Wy should an expensive BMW CCC unit with all the embodied labour, materials and energy (CO2) be scraped because electronic hardware and software are so complex? Answer: It shouldn’t; it should be sent to Revtronic. When all things associated with the i-drive in my 2006 BMW 330d touring (E91) stopped working, I thought that’ll be expensive! My vehicle is fitted with satnav, bluetooth professional, parking sensor screen, etc. My mechanic sent the CCC unit to BBA Reman to repair/replace. They tested it and advised that the component which had failed was no longer available on the after market and that they couldn’t fix it nor get me a replacement. I googled ‘CCC failure’ and found Revtronic – they fixed it in the most professional way ie the service, confidence they inspire and total attitude of Pops and the team is second to none. The CCC system works better than ever! While this company is world class in terms of the software and hardware skills they possess, it’s so encouraging to deal with such a great bunch of guys. It’s not just the money Revtronic saved me, it’s the fact that they’ve re-lifed a £2,500+ CCC unit which would otherwise have been scraped in today’s ‘throw away’ society, for £375 +VAT. They say it’s when you have a bad experience that you really tell everyone. That may be so, but when you have an exceptionally good experience it’s also very hard to keep quiet! Expect more business from Northern Ireland over the years ahead! Thanks a lots folks. Ian
